the code
I am a Fullstack Developer and AI-Enabled Business Analyst, a combination born from a genuinely unconventional journey. I started my career as a Textile Designer in Kenya, where I spent 8 years turning complex briefs into products that balanced beauty and function. That experience taught me something no CS classroom could: how to translate what a client needs into something real.
In 2022, I made the leap to Canada and retrained in Computer Science, and graduated in 2025 with a stronger grasp of systems thinking. I hold a Bachelor's in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Kenya, so the technical thinking was always there; I'm just now applying it to software.
Today I specialise in purposeful web experiences with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, while developing expertise in Business Systems Analysis and AI. I believe the future belongs to people who can sit at the intersection of technology and business strategy and that's exactly where I'm building my career.
